Curiosity: A Young Sea Turtle’s Adventures by Bec Martin is coming November 1st, 2025.

The prequel to this story is Bravery: A Baby Sea Turtle's First Adventure.

Beautifully illustrated with full-page watercolor paintings by Lisa T. Myers, these unique books tells the story of a sea turtle from hatchling to adolescence.

These books hope to inspire acts of bravery & curiosity in children who read and engage with the story of Shelley, the sea turtle, and are written from her perspective.

Bec Martin is a children’s book author and sea turtle advocate.

Her debut book titled Bravery: A Baby Sea Turtle’s First Adventure is meant to uplift and inspire little ones to be their best.

As a former life coach and in her current roles as author and preschool teacher, Bec loves to encourage others!

She enjoys hanging out with her husband, two grown kids (as much as possible), and her dog, Sophie. She adores flowers, beach walks, and of course, sea turtles.
